I'm thrilled to announce that I'll be in a new anthology inspired by the songs of Tori Amos. Similar in execution & release (but not related to) the Belle & Sebastian anthology that came out a year or two ago. I've been sworn to secrecy on alot of it, but it's planning to be huge. This will be available in trade, hardback and a limited slipcase edition is being bandied about. Other contributors include Dame Darcy, David Mack, Pia Guerra, Colleen Doran, Nicki Cook, and many more. Intro by Neil Gaiman. Pinch me now. We encourage you to pre-order with you local comic shop. If that fails, well shame on them. The book will be available at the brick n' mortar, online and on tour with Tori.

more on the anthology.

People have been asking me about the set list for the songs. For the full list you can go to Tori's site. I thought it'd be fun to whip up a playlist of it for folks. A few of the songs didn't make it in only because I couldn't find them. Enjoy...

In 2006, Vito Delsante tapped me to be a part of a new webcomics group of colaborators called the Chemistry Set. Similar in spirit to Act-I-Vate (and sharing some of it's contributors), the Chemistry Set is an online comics anthology. Now Desperado has allowed us to share some of the stories offline in our first volume.

2008 minis/zines from drawrobot.
A brief disclaimer that pretty much the whole list here is a toss up as to whether it will come out this year or not. I work on these with what little spare time I have between life, a day job and spotty freelance. These stories come forth once they bid it. Lollygag will come out bi-annually for sure as it's mostly reprinted material from elsewhere.

  • Lollygag no.1- Lollygag collects some of the out of print stuff I've been doing for anthologies and online fair from the Chemistry Set. I have a few stories that I've done that only circulate as wide as the publisher is willing. Most stories are lost in the shuffle. Common in the scene of very small print runs. First up: collecting the Federico story from Steven Goldman's Styx Taxi series and a short with Elizabeth Genco.
  • GPCC:Hide no.1- for real this time. no fuckin' around. another 'simulcast' event I'll be offering online and in my big-big format. The first arc in the reboot of one of my old characters- Guston Phillips, Cyclops Cowboy™. This is a big sweeping epic I've planned out. I don't know how long it will run but I've always wanted to tackle something on the scale of Kirby's Fourth World or Bone.
  • SPB:Rise! vol.2 (maybe)- I underestimated how much of my freetime other ventures would take up and this got the two year sidetrack treatment. I was never wanting this to implode again.

my debut graphic novel from Oni Press with Brian McLachlan. A mix of culture jamming, romance, and comedy. Seth is bored with his job and seeks out relevance in a world of suburbs and starbucks. He bumps into Nozomi, a jammer who goes around rearranging ads around town. It's a coming of age story set to the beat of Adbusters.
